About the project
The focus of the innovation is the so-called chlorine separation technology, which enables the use of alternative fuels in greater proportion. The essence of the process is that chlorine is released during the burning of alternative fuels in the course of clinker production which is the intermediate product of cement. All this reduces the chlorine content of the clinker and the cement made from it.
In a closed system, the extracted gas mixture is mixed with limestone flour, after which the dust cleaned by system-in-built bag deduster (bypass dust) is separated. The cleaned gas is returend to the clinker cooling technology. The remaining bypass dust will be stored in silos, which will be later used for the production of special construction materiels and up to a standard limit for the production o cement.
